Founded in 2015 by Jane Li, Peerone Academy takes a different approach to college admissions. We understand that there is a lot riding on college acceptances and the biggest challenge students and families face throughout the college application process is not knowing where to start. Therefore, we simplify the process by breaking it down into actionable pieces designed to minimize stress while achieving maximum success.

Jane founded PeerOne Academy out of personal frustration. Coming from an immigrant family with no previous experience navigating the North American college application process, Jane found applying to college both stressful and challenging. In looking for help, her family was scammed by numerous inexperienced educational consultants. Unfortunately, her experience was not uncommon in this industry.
Wanting a better experience for her younger sister Julia, Jane took matters into her own hands and was ultimately able to help Julia secure her acceptance to New York University Stern School of Business.
Jane is able to differentiate herself from other college consultants with her unique ability to relate to her students to draw out the most authentic and compelling narratives for their applications. Jane has also completed the Graduate Certificate in College Admissions Counseling at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
